Use your market knowledge or gut feeling to predict if the SHIB/USD price will go higher or lower in the near future. Stake BONE on your prediction — get it right and you’ll collect a share of the round’s prize pool!
Predictions must be placed from a regular wallet address. Smart-contract wallets (such as multisigs or some account-abstraction wallets) cannot enter rounds — this is a safety restriction enforced by the contract.
To enter a round of Prediction, you’ll want to check how long is left in the current round. You’ll find the timer at the top center of the page. If the timer is too low your prediction may not confirm in time, so check there’s still plenty of time left before you make a prediction (30 seconds should be plenty, but give yourself more time if you’re following along with this guide).

Predicting the next round

When you’re sure you have enough time, you can place your prediction for the next round:
  1. In the “Next” section you’ll see a green Enter UP button and a red Enter DOWN button. Click Enter UP if you want to predict a rise in price, and click Enter DOWN if you want to predict a drop in price.
  2. Each will have a different reward multiplier. The multiplier will change over time as the “Prize Pool” increases depending on people’s predictions. The Prize Pool is shown just above the buttons.
  3. A “Set Position” panel will open. Enter the amount of BONE you would like to commit to your prediction for this round. You can also use the slider or click the percent buttons (10%, 25%, 50%, Max) if you prefer. Keep in mind there is a small minimum bet amount per round.

  1. Once you’ve decided the amount to commit, click Confirm. A confirmation modal will appear showing your bet amount, the treasury fee, and your position. Review the details and click Confirm UP (or Confirm DOWN) to sign the transaction in your wallet.

  1. After your transaction confirms, your entry will appear on the Next round card showing your position and staked amount.

Watching the live round

A live round will last for 5 minutes. You can watch the SHIB/USD price update during the 5 minutes if you’d like. The Prediction page includes two price chart views — a Chainlink Chart showing the on-chain oracle price, and a TradingView Chart showing the broader market view. Switch between them using the tabs below the round cards.

Your prediction is locked in as soon as you confirm—no changes are allowed during or after the live round.

Once your entered round finishes

After 5 minutes as the live round, your entered round will finish. Everything is automatic, so there’s nothing you need to do to end the round.

Seeing the results

After a short wait, the finished round will move left and show the result — either UP or DOWN — along with the price change. If your prediction was correct, it will show as Won; otherwise it shows as Lost.

History

To see the results of all rounds you’ve participated in, open the History page. You’ll find your past rounds listed with the bet amount, position, result, and claim status. Collecting any winnings

If you won your entered round, a Claimed badge will appear in the History page once you’ve collected, or you can claim directly from the round card. Click the Collect button, confirm the action in your wallet, and your BONE winnings will be transferred. Your BONE winnings will now be in your wallet.

Leaderboard

Check the Leaderboard to see how you stack up against other players. It shows the top players ranked by net winnings, along with their win rate and rounds played. Leaderboard showing top players by net winnings, win rate, and rounds played

What if the round ends in a tie?

If the price at the end of the round is exactly the same as the locked price, neither UP nor DOWN wins — the round goes to the house and the pot is sent to the treasury. Ties are rare, but they can happen.

Refunds

If a round ever fails to settle in time — for example, if the price feed is temporarily interrupted or the game is paused — the round is voided and every participant can reclaim their full staked amount. Refunds are collected exactly like winnings: a Collect button will appear for the affected round, and clicking it returns your BONE in full (no fee is taken on refunds).
